CEO video blog: Self-regulation

One of our values at The Helmsman Project is self-regulation, which is also a life skill we help our young participants develop and is a critical leadership tool. In psychology, self-regulation theory is about consciously guiding or altering our own thoughts, behaviours, feelings and motivation to reach goals. It’s also about understanding the broader network of interacting influences. For us, at The Helmsman Project, self-regulation is about three things: understand yourself & others, take responsibility and commit with confidence. Watch Kim's CEO video blog here.
