We recently received exciting news that The Helmsman Project has been selected to receive a Community Grant from the Westpac Foundation for 2021.
We are one of the 100 local social enterprises and not-for-profits Westpac Foundation selected because of our contribution to young people experiencing disadvantage. It is estimated that over 8,000 individuals across the country who face barriers to employment will benefit from these grants including young people from disadvantaged communities. Westpac Foundation seeks to support organisations like The Helmsman Project who provide opportunities to Australians who need it most.
“These grants will help organisations continue to play a critical role in our local communities, providing direct employment services and support to those who need it most,” said Amy Lyden, Acting CEO Westpac Foundation.
We are hugely grateful for the support we receive from sponsors like Westpac Foundation, helping us achieve our goal of positively impacting the lives of thousands of young people across the country. Thank you to the Westpac Foundation for supporting The Helmsman Project.
