Volunteering for The Helmsman Project is an incredibly rewarding experience. You’ll meet inspiring young people and those who are guiding them towards a brighter future, as well as other volunteers who are passionate about helping young people reach their potential. Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do, and we work hard to make sure they get just as much out of volunteering as they put in.

As a volunteer, you’ll be involved in creating and implementing some of our key strategies, from delivering programs in high schools across Sydney to developing innovative research in collaboration with our partners. You’ll network with skilled professionals from a range of backgrounds and learn valuable skills you can use in other areas of your life.
